Located in the Central Interior of British Columbia, the South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce covers an area north to Lac La Hache, west to the Fraser River, east on Highway 24 towards Little Fort (Hwy 5) and south to 70 Mile House.
Famous for its host of fishing lakes, resorts, abundant wildlife, excellent bird watching, rich history and all four fabulous seasons, the South Cariboo holds something for everybody.
The main business centre is 100 Mile House, is located five hours north of Vancouver, BC, on highway 97. The main industry is primary forest products manufacturing, followed by tourism, a core value-added sector including log home building and rounded out by ranching giving us a diversified economy.
